Box Motion technology for flow-wrapping machines
The Box Motion system is a sealing technology used in flow pack packaging machines to maintain a high quality of package sealing even in high-speed packaging lines.
In this system, the sealing jaws do not simply close on the moving product, but temporarily follow the movement of the package along the line. This principle makes it possible to perform sealing while the product continues to move, improving process stability and ensuring consistent sealing time even when speed varies.
In flow pack packaging, the product moves along the line while the packaging film is wrapped around the item.
During the package sealing phase, the sealing jaws of the Box Motion system move in synchronization with the package, accompanying it for a short section of the line.
This controlled movement allows contact between the sealing surfaces and the film to be maintained for the time required to achieve a uniform closure without slowing down the production line.
