Rotary tables for packaging lines

Rotary tables are systems used in packaging lines to manage the flow of products before or after the packaging phase.

These devices allow products to be accumulated and moved along the production line, facilitating the work of operators and improving process continuity.

Rotary tables are often used as support for flow pack packaging machines, clipping machines or other packaging systems, helping to make the entire production cycle more efficient.

How does a turntable work?

The system consists of a circular table that rotates slowly, designed according to the dimensions of the packaging machine with which it is used.

The rotating movement allows products to be distributed across the work surface and to manage the flow of packages during the production process.

Rotary tables can be installed at different points along the line:

  • at the machine input, to facilitate product positioning before packaging
  • at the machine output, to accumulate finished packages and facilitate their collection by the operator

Stockpiling of packaged goods

One of the most common applications of rotary tables is product accumulation at the output of the packaging machine.

After packaging, the products are conveyed onto the rotating surface where they are gradually distributed, creating an orderly accumulation area.

This system allows operators to pick up products more easily for subsequent packing or boxing operations.

Integration into packaging lines

Rotary tables are part of the support systems used in feeding and packaging lines, where they help to stabilize the flow of products between the different machines in the line.

The table configuration is defined based on the line speed, product dimensions and the type of packaging used.

These systems help improve line organization and reduce handling times for packaged products.
